Default gas tank j-bolts, cant find any!

i have an 87 cherokee and i need a new j-bolt to hold up the gas tank. right now i have it held up with a shoe lace but its making me nervous. i found j-bolts for 91-01 cherokee and was wondering if they would work. http://www.oconeeoffroad.com/servlet...sh-Bolt/Detail

if they look the same they will work, as dumb as that sounds. they're a bit pricey, I would take a sawzall and a cordless impact, 14mm i think, down to the junkyard. Find one, hack off enough to get a deep socket on there and zip em off. maybe spend a couple bucks total.

that listing is actually wrong, i just checked the parts catalog. That part # is only for 99-01 cherokees.

You need part # J3240023

$2.69 w/ free shipping:

They have them... I had to replace my fuel pump and they have decent prices on OEM.

I don't on hand. I'm not in country right now, but just follow their catalog and you'll find them.

Can these bolts only be purchased online? Would a local parts store have them? I'm looking at napa and other places as we speak.

Screw it, I'm just going to order them offline. I should have ordered it before hand, shame on me for trusting my jeep to be an easy fix haha. I see I can buy the straps at a local parts store, anybody know a place where I can get them for cheap?

Ordered these last night and called in to confirm the order. Apparently they were going to cancel my order because the item is on back stock and won't be shipped for another 30-60 days... Any other advice on where to get them? I'm reading a lot of people have just bought threaded rod and then bent the top to mimic the bolt. What do you guys think? I do not have access to a heating torch hot enough to do that.
