I need j bolts to re mount my gas tank on my 1999xj ive searched all over and I can only find them for an 84-96 they have a different part number for 1999. 52100362aa. Are the 84- 96 ones compatible, or does anyone know where to find the right ones cheap? Thanks

New straps and J-bolts included.

 

Ill try them again tomorrow, I called them and the kid on the phone said they had the strap kit with the bolts in stock, when I got there he told me that the kit didnt have the j bolts , he said it was wierd because they were in the picture, I just noticed the contents dont list the bolts either

 

Teamcherokee has the bolts for 84-96 for around 20 bucks is there a difference between the models ? I found out the fuel and vent hoses are minutely different the hard way

 

i made my own the other day. i made it out of a 3" threaded hook 3/8" thick, 3/8" coupling nut, and a piece of allthread. got all of it from ACE Hardware for less than 10 bucks for both.

Anchor Bolts,with some modification will work $1.10 at Homedepot.

Good idea! I'll consider this when I do mine, if my NAPA strap kit also doesn't have the bolts as shown.

 

I already have the straps, waiting on the bolts from team Cherokee. Wish I saw the make your own ones before I ordered them if there the wrong ones ill make my own and sell the ones I ordered on here

Actually I just checked the tracking and I think ill do it your way. next tuesday is way too long for bolts, just have to wait for the new filler hoses, anyone need a set of new filler and vent hoses for an 84-96 lol

 

Just thought id post in case someone else was looking for the oem j bolts, the 84-96 ones I got from team Cherokee were exactly the same as the stock ones
