I always have the smell of gas in the Jeep I got no idea what its from

 

Pop the hood while its running and look at the injector rail. See any wet spots?...check fuel line fittings from front to back. See any wet spots?...

Two of my injectors popped around the body...smelled like someone dumped gasoline inside the cab!

If you don't find anything on top get under it and fallow out the fuel line from front to rear. A fuel leak is something that you don't want to ignore. i'm assuming that your Jeep is a 91 going by you name. If it is a 91 your fuel pump and filter are not in the tank. Som check at the filter and pump connections.

I know im my 95 xj after i fill up like 3mi. Down the road its starts to smell like gas. So i usually stop and tighten down the gas cap again and it goes away after a few minutes. It only happens when i fill up though.
