Just curious, where were the new injectors from? I'm wondering if they were Chinese knock off counterfeit Bosch. Shorted injectors can damaged the ECM.

 

I bought them off eBay. They were cheap so I guess I got what I paid for. Listing just said 6 OEM injectors. But the injectors that were already in the Jeep looked like the new ones I bought. I also put two of the old ones back in to replace the bad ones. My new ones haven’t come in yet. The guy I bought the Jeep from had been using the same ECM and injectors for years. And everything worked when I got it.
I have no idea why the ECM decided to go out now. Just my luck I guess

 

Chinese junk then. It's possible they were shorted or way too low resistance, which would blow the transistor in the ECM. If you have a meter, maybe measure their resistance?
