Fuse location for Center High Brake light
2001 Jeep Cherokee.
Rear Center High Brake light burned out. I replaced bulb and nothing. I can not find the fuse. Owner manual does not list a fuse. If possible I'd like to avoid removing every single fuse to locate the bad one.
Any idea where that little dude is located?

On the 99 wiring diagram, should be the same... there is not a fuse by itself for the high mounted stop light. if the stoplights in the tail lights are working then it should work..
I would check the wiring going into the rear hatch... to make sure it is not broken.

You can check the fuses without having to pull them out, just use a 12 volt test light on the top of the fuse, if both sides light the test light the fuse is good.
Rear hatch brake light went out yesterday on my 97 XJ Sport, now all brake lights are out. I checked the wiring going into the hatch and like 4 or 5 of the wires are broke. There's little to no slack in the wiring harness to mend the broken wires....any suggestions?
thanks in advance guys.
