I have not put in an aftermarket radio. And I have not connected the blue and black wire in the back.
To solve this problem I have replaced the headlight switch for a new one, but this hasn't worked.
What else can I do before bringing it to a mechanic.
What shape was plug to head light switch in ,any melted spots black areas?

All wiring must be traced from lights untill shorted wiring found id start at front and work back i believe theres a plug in air filter box area that feeds front lights .Unpluging it eliminates whole front harness .

Also look under the drivers side carpet there's a wiring harness under our feet that has a habit of getting smashed into the floorboard and grounds out.

No, on the ones ive owned there is also a large harness that cuts across by the gas pedal and our heels dig it into the floorboard. I believe it runs windows, locks, lights for console shifter and there are relays in the passenger kickpanels that it goes to.

I have my airfilter directly on top of the carburettor. So no airfilterbox.
Where is this airfilterbox located? So I can look there for a connector.

Ok guys i have a turnsignal/parking light issue. The driver side turnsignal only comes on when the flashers are on or when Im turning left. Once i turn on my headlights they only work again when i turn or have the flashers on..They arent on when just the headlights are on...mind you the passager side works fine. And ive just replaced the bulbs on both the sidemarker lens and the turnsignal/parking light....I dont know if its related but the driver side taillight only works for turns and brakes but not when the headlights are on. I havent had a chance to change that one yet as i cant access it at this point. My rear hatch is taco'd in and i cant get it open and dont want to try to until it gets a little warmer in case i cant get it closed again.

Being that it pops as soon as you turn your lights on, you may try opening your rear hatch and see if that has any impact on the fuse blowing. A cracked wire in the tailgate harness could be popping it. Otherwise this has trailer hitch wiring written all over it IMO.
