Fun electrical issue
I have tried my hardest to resolve these issues by myself and have failed many times. I have quite a few weird problems.
It's a 90 renix and to start with, I have grounds all over the place. My oil pressure, coolant temp, and volt gauge all work intermittently (all other gauges work all the time), My head unit shuts off when I let go of the gas. And when my headlights are on, my turn signals don't work. But....every once in a while, all my gauges will come to life, headlights and signals work flawlessly, and my head unit doesn't shut off when I let off the gas. It either all doesn't work, or all does work. I give up, hopefully you guys have some info for me.

As I stated, I have extra grounds everywhere, including the ones that cruiser lists. I have gone through most of his fixes without any change to my current problems.

To be clear: You added the instrument panel ground?
Manual transmission with brake fluid leaking into the fuse box?

Those two statements are very different. The first is simply a statement that there are a lot of grounds.
The second is a statement that grounds were ADDED to the factory grounds.
That's a very different thing.
So now that we have this new information, we can ask some better questions:

So now that we have this new information, we can ask some better questions:
- Who added the grounds? You? Or a previous owner?
- Why were they added?
- Where are they?
- Can you provide some pictures?

8ga instrument cluster ground was added as directed in cruisers page of renix stuff, dipstick tube 4ga, intake to firewall 4ga, and battery ground 4ga. Also added a couple motor to chassis grounds in the other spots. Automatic, no fluid spilling. Jeep runs like a champ, starts right up, idles perfect, drives perfect....just these electrical gremlins
Edit, I personally did all the grounds other than battery. All were cleaned to as bare metal as one could get, and all are replacement grounds rather than added on top of stock with exception of the instrument cluster, that I did just add.

After more probing around yesterday (was installing a trailer plug). Seems as if when I hit my headlights, voltage on my gauge drops like a rock and shuts off my radio. I rarely ever drive my jeep as it's mostly a toy/hauler. Never drive at night, could the headlight switch be the problem?

Dropped the column today so I could check out the ign switch. Looks like someone held a lighter to the connector, melted pretty bad. Will replace harness and switch and will report back.
