Default Full Time on gague cluster

I have an 01 Cherokee, and a few days ago when I start my jeep the green full time 4x4 light comes on. It either stays on for a while, or flickers, and then goes away. Any ideas of what is causing this, and what it would take to fix it. If it isn't hurting anything I may just leave it alone, but it is annoying.

Thanks

pry a bad switch, your tcase is in 2wd right?
The switch is about 15 bucks and is located on the top front of the transfer case.

I second the bad switch. If you don't want to buy a new one, just unhook it.
