Fueling problems maybe?

Okay. So on my 95 2.5 with a 5 speed, i’ve been having long cranking times and a backfire occasionally on deceleration.
Now, let’s say the engine is cold, full cold start. It’ll crank for maybe 4 or 5 cycles until it catches, and then starting it warm is a breeze. Also, the colder it gets outside, the harder it is for the engine to catch and start going.
As for the other issue, let’s say i’m in 5th gear and let off the gas. It’ll do it’s normal engine braking, and the engine will wind down without a backfire. But if I were to tap the gas while decelerating, it’ll backfire about 2 times a second until I give it more gas and then coast again in gear.
Now, I haven’t tested my fuel pressure, nor have I confirmed it’s even fuel related. But it seems that maybe an injector isn’t firing when it should, or ones leaking and causing a backfire. And as far as the cold start goes, that could be fueling related as well, because i’ve taken care of the crank sensor, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, as well as the MAP sensor and the TPS sensor. I also know I have good compression, so that really leaves fuel as the missing element.
Should I start looking at the fuel pressure regulator? Manifold leak perhaps? Soft failing fuel pump? Leaky or clogged injectors?

I personally would check the canister vent/purge valve and all hosing near the rear driver's side.
Check the hosing near the firewall and the purge near the passenger side by the hood hinge general area.

It seems that new 4 hole injectors fixed most of the problem. It got down to the teens a few nights ago where I live, and she cranked right up. But the backfire issue is still present, but not nearly as bad as it was.
I can honestly live with it, since I don’t really feather the throttle that much anyway
