Default Fuel tank roll-over vent lines

I'm looking for some information on the roll-over vent lines on top of the fuel tank. Before I drop the tank, I would like to know the length and size of these lines so I can make a trip to the parts store.

Also I have heard there is corrosion issues with the steel hard line, is this the line that sits on the length of the fuel tank?

I circled the lines I am talking about in red just to clarify.

Looks about right. The newer models (I have a '98) are a little different but the concept is basically the same...I got 8 feet of 5/16" fuel-rated hose w/ clamps to replace my rusted steel line. I had a good bit left over. The older models though, I believe the canister is located under the hood, so you may have further to go, unless there is a break in the hard line at some point. Someone else could probably clarify that.

Seen here, to the left of the fuel pump. Originally there was a little plastic line connected to the valve via rubber grommet, and then another grommet on the other side of the plastic line connecting it to the metal line.

Yeah that is exactly the line I'm looking to replace albeit on my '93. Does anyone know the size of the vent line on a '93?

I am assuming either 1/4 or 5/16".

It's probably the same. You could remove it and see. Your jeep will (should-mine did) run fine without it.
