I've search, googled, binged.... At a lose.

I just got a 95 XJ Sport. It hasn't been driven in YEEEEARS. The guy said he put moth ***** in the tank, so I need to drop it & drain it. Sorry, not getting my mouth anywhere near that crap.

Now yes, I've seen a few write ups but they dont specify what year its from. Does it matter?

You can use any fuel tank from a 96 or older. The changed the tank in 97

 

If you go to a hard ware store they can help you make a drill driven pump to get the gas out. But dropping it would prob be better anyways
