Fuel Tank capcity. any idea the size
My 87 2.5L Cherokee need a new gas tank but i don't know the exact size that gallon tank i need. i was at just a hair under 1/4 of a tank and it took 12.6 gallons can anyone here help me here on the size? would this be a 16 gallon? ive only seen 13 and the 20.2 gallon but 13 is out since it took 12 jut under a quarter thanks guys in advance!!

13 and 20 gallon tanks are the exact same physical size they just have a different position of the fill/vent tubes inside which makes the 13 cut off the fill up early. I replaced my 13 with a 20 and everything bolts right up and the 20 was actually cheaper.
