fuel rail question
Ive got a 89 jeep cherokee inline 6. My question is:
Where the main fuel line connects to the fuel rail, is there suppose to be a O ring there?? Ive got a major fuel leak. Fuel rail was completely off when i bought the jeep so im not sure. If there is suppose to be one there. IS it the same O ring that the injectors take? if not whats the part #?

I just fixed the same problem, this is what you need:
Jeep Part #83502745
http://4x4point.com.au/cart/index.ph...bbfbdc8c857549
I just bought one of these on Monday from a dealer for $20.40 (part plus tax). I have found them cheaper on Morris 4x4.
You can do a temp fix by getting the oring kit and 5/16" fuel line clip from Autozone. You will need 2 of the orings and the clip to get a good seal.
The dealer part, other than the cost, worked perfect and too seconds to fix.

Autozone has a multi pack of fuel rated orings. There are 2 of the correct size in there. Look over by where they keep the 5/16 clips. The store I shop had them on a rack in the same area.
They told me that the individual orings they sold were not rated for fuel.
There is also a plastic spacer that goes between the orings. When I temp fixed mine it held without the spacer.
