Yo! got a 96 and the dang thing died. switched my fuel pump relay with my aux fan relay and it started ran for a couple minutes then died again, guess its blowing the relay, help me out?

 

You may be lucky and get by with a relay but I chased my tail on this issue for a month or so. What I found was my pump would get hot and shut down and then would run great for about 45 minutes and die. New fuel pump solved the problem.

 

just rather not change fuel pump if its not the problem. bad fuel pump will blow the relay?
