I am going to drop the tank on my 97 and replace the whole fuel pump assembly. I wanted to use the Bosch brand part # 67658, but its out of stock everywhere I check. Is their another brand that's good? I have heard of people having problems with some of the cheaper ones.

 

Do you know how many times this type of thread has popped up? So many that when a Mopar pump came up for my '00 for $150 on Craigslist I just said screw it and bought it.
I think guys have said that you can buy the pump part still. I want to say it is this one.


But the filter does not look right to me. Sure enough the first review below seems to address that.
So if you can still use your assembly.........

 

I think I remember Cruiser or maybe tjWalker recommending Delphi.......

 

Been there with my 89. They aapparently no longer make the while Bosch assembly but still make just the pump.

I will never buy another after market fuel pump assembly again.....of course I do have a lifetime warranty. But I already told the guy that when it goes out this time I just want a gift card to the store then I am going to buy just the Bosch pump and pick up another assembly and put the pump in. Then I'll have a Bosch pump.
