fuel problems

Default fuel problems
my 93 cherokee wont start, I put fuel in intake and it starts up, and I can hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key

The pump can turn on but it may not have enough pressure to run right. Test and see what pressure you have. I had a 90 and a 96 model both had fuel pressure problems with the pump not having full pressure

^^ This is one of the first thing you should do if you think you have a fuel problem. Verify you fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a mechanical pressure gauge.

Thanks, now to get a mechanical pressure gage I assume hardware store?

Most auto parts places will loan you one, probably have to put down a deposit.

Got no fuel pressure reading at test port, so I assume fuel pressure regulator is out? Or I got a blockage somewhere?
