Alright so today i made the horrifying discovery that my FPR leaks on the bottom side where its crimped to make the seal. I had been smelling a little bit of gas for a while, but I already knew that an o-ring on the #6 injector was going bad, but this was much, much worse. Hopefully tomorrow (payday) I'll get a new one and install it, but I'm just curious, what better injectors will fit the 4.0? I know on some of the stroker builds I've seen they use higher flowing Ferd (Ford) injectors, but I also heard that you can use injectors out of a Neon? If this is true, are they cheaper, and what years and engine should I look at?
I really would not like to sit on the side of the road as the local FD puts my XJ out of its misery

 

Alright so I got out there and shot a couple pics as to how bad the situation is. First one is for those who have no clue what the FPR looks like on the 4.0 (I hope most of you do know what it looks like) and the second one is how much gas I'm losing, even after just a few seconds of the fuel pump being on.
