It doesn't miss if I start it and let it idle but if I start it and rev it, it misses a couple times. I think I'll pull my fuel rail tomorrow and see if there is anything strange.

Makes seance. Guess you had to notice allot of guys are upgrading to 4 hole injectors. I put 703's in my 90 and got my mileage down to 10. Got 19 on the hwy. trip when I went to buy them. (likely more suitable for your OBD-I)

I have had to check my injectors that way. I pulled the rail with every thing hooked up. I put a long enough piece of card board under the rail. That way if you have a small leak it will show up on the card board. That way you don't have to stand with your face right in front of pressured injectors looking for a leak.

Yeah I saw the upgrade. I just don't want to throw parts at it. If it is indeed an injector or two I will get 703s. If it isn't the injectors do I really need to replace the pump right away?

How exactly is it done? Just remove the rail turn the key on then off and see if it leaks?

I left the key on and let it set for about 15 minutes. If you have a bad enough leak you will see it.

Yea, I'd be cautious there. A renix ECU, I don't believe has a memory, doesn't reset to allow for the higher flow rate of the 703's. (yes stock). Runs great!, but just today got the lowest ever, 10. I can't say for double sure, I need to do more homework, but so far it's defiantly less. I feel stupid doing it, but in the name of science I'm going to leave my cable off over-night and check again. It's easy and harmless on the Renix, won't change a thing, but I'll do it.
Cruiser recommends Precision Injectors, maybe $120 shipped? It took some doing but I got the 703's "out the yard", $8 each.

I think its an injector. I used a stethoscope and all but the number one cylinder has a distinct click. Cylinder one is faint and sounds like it is constantly flowing. Sounds kinda like a pinched garden hose.

Interesting. Maybe time to go ahead and gap your plugs, and see if #1 is a little darker. If it is, maybe you need a new injector. Of course you would pull the rail to swap it, so you could test it then to be sure. (wonder if you could put it in the rail backwards and back flush it!)

I think I'm gonna go ahead and do 703s. I was gonna wait a bit to do them but oh well.

I do like mine. it's all gravel here, first day I couldn't keep from peeling out like a kid a few times. If I have it straight they are close to the flow rate for yours, (20 somethings, as opposed to my 18 somethingorother). (lbs/Min?) Anyway Breeze, Sebring, Labaron? I think it was a couple of those, didn't find any in Neon's myself. 703's don't have a red clip in the left. (the donors had "squinty eyed headlights!) Was very pissed one day in light rain at the JY, that I didn't have good light and the right glasses. Had the right think in my hand, but no way of knowing it!

And again, I believe it was Precision Injectors that can ship a set of something appropriate rebuilt for around $120?

Do please let us know when you find what your problem is

I don't know if it would affect this problem or even if I'm supposed to have one, but I don't have a downstream o2 sensor.

Assuming that 94 should have one, I suppose that should keep your light on.
