Has anyone ever had an issue with the rubber fuel line between the pump and the hard line in the tank? My 92 xj 4.0 has twice blown that rubber line off. I have to get back into the tank for the second time in a week. Not looking forward to it. Any one experienced this? Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

Yup. Happened to me after replacing the pump in my 96. I guess the replacement line was just a bit too big. I ended up putting on two hose clamps. One before the 'nub' on the metal line on the pump and one after the nub.

I also keep tools handy so I can get at it again if required.
