Fuel Leak, Plastic Line

Fuel Leak, Plastic Line
Have any of you experienced a leak from the plastic line that goes into the fitting to the input of the fuel rail. It's leaking between the metal fitting and the plastic line. Mine slipped right off the fitting. I had to pu**** back in and put a metal clamp on it...it still leaks a little bit. It looks like I'll have to replace the plastic line. It looks as if the lines are some sort of heatshrink type of material.
Any ideas?
