Default fuel injector power supply

Foremost,my understanding of electrics ain't that good.In reality, I don't have a clue.

With all the threads I have been following on injector upgrades, and how to clean them yourself, only posed more questions for me.

I have viewed several videos on line on how to build your own cleaning apparatus. One used a motorcycle battery, another using a power supply from some computer speakers. And another using a 9v battery.

One source stated not to use a 12 volt battery. But use a 9v battery,as the 12v could fry the injector. The power source from the speakers=120vac in and 9vac out and another one is 120vac in with 6vac out. These are the ones I have on hand anyway.

I recently built one of these using a 9v battery.With the resource's I have,do I have another power source?

I built one using a 9 Volt battery. Whether you use a 12 Volt or a 9 Volt power supply, you should only one-second pulse the injector, not apply a continuous voltage.

Those are both AC power supplies. You'll need to add a rectifier and filter to convert the output to DC.
