Fuel injector port damaged?

Ditto on it being a non-issue, as the o-ring presses on the sides of the hole and the injector tip extends below that. Looks like it has carbon in the chip, so I'd guess it came from the factory that way. Beside a minor leak on the intake side will be a vacuum leak and not fuel spraying out.
Agreed.
Worst case, have it welded up and machined, but that would only be for warm fuzzies.

Its a defect on the edge of a "giant" hole..that the plastic injector tip might go into..that plastic does not seal against the inner hole. The effort to repair it is not nearly worth the price of a new manifold
