Fuel Injector Help

Having a problem with my fuel injectors. I have a 99 motor, with a 96 manifold, with Neon 715injectors, in a 96 XJ. 4.0 Right now 3 injectors are bad. Could this combination be contributing to the injectors failing?

Why would you have a 96 intake on a 99 engine?

During the motor swap the wiring from the 99 manifold was not long enough to use, but the 96 was. Was in a rush needed it done
