Default Fuel Gauge Problem

The fuel gauge isn't working on my '96. I found the thread telling how to check the gauge, but where is the 3-wire plug Located? Thanks.

It's right above the rear axel. You can see the pump access hole with the three wire harness coming off. I had the same issue. I replaced my gauge and it worked for a bit , but it stopped again the other day. Good luck!

Default Fuel Gauge

The plug above the rear axle on the '96 is a 5-wire plug......not a 3-wire as shown in the thread I found.
