I recently installed a new fuel pump in my XJ. Ever since, the gauge reads off. I can put ten gallons in from when it runs dry, which should bring it to a half a tank on the gauge. But the guage won't even budge a quarter tank. Did i mess up the float in the tank, or can it be adjusted? This is a really annoying thing. I never know how much gas i have anymore.

Any ideas?
