Default fuel filter change

So while I was under fixing my brake lines I glanced at the fuel filter which sat next to them. It looks like the original from 92.
Also, is brake fluid corrosive? It kinda got sprayed and the label has come off.

Second, how hard is it to replace/steps to do so.

First of all, you need to relieve your Fuel Pressure.

To do this, remove your Fuel Cap, then remove the cap on the Shrader Valve of the Test Port on the fuel Rail. Press in the Valve, like letting the air out of a bicycle tire. Just be careful not to spray fuel in your eyes!!!

There's just 2 hose clamps and 1 bolt for the strap that the Filter is attached to. Be prepared to catch the remaining fuel. I just wish everything else on my Jeep was that easy to replace...

Hope this helps!

yeah, what he said+ brake fluid is not corrosive, but if left on paint, it will remove it.

yeah after looking over the guide I was pm'd, I found the guide how to relieve the pressure, though it was for newer years.

But yeah, I'll need to change that soon. and I hope it helps my mpg, its starting to cost me more than I'd like to drive to work.
Also it has a long crank on a cold start. was expecting this to shorten after the plug change.

in another thread I stated I changed everything but the fuel filter and the cables. Which as I stated above, I dont think the previous owner ever changed the filter since it was built in 92.
