Depends on what your XJ is used for. If it's a daily driver that sees nothing but pavement, go with OEM, hands down. If it's only a trail rig, I'd go with polyurethane. If it's a DD that sees occasional offroad, I'd go with OEM. OEM is a softer ride. Polyurethane will be much stiffer and vibrations will be more apparent, but will last longer than OEM.
