so just take off the cowl and look for the drains. then take something skinny and poke it through or if you can, just clean it out with your hands. its all the leaves and dirt that cloggs the drains.

To remove the cowl remove the wiper arms, then the screws, & have a look.

Yeah removing the cowl is pretty much a no brainer. I've already had that apart and then some, and there are no drain holes to clean out. My 87 didn't have them either.

What I was asking was, what did the "glass technician" mean by the water "just over laps the body". Water over laps the body?
