Front tires wearing real bad
I am looking into buying a 96 4.0 cherokee and retiring my 89 cherokee. The 96 has a bad tire wear problem. The outsides of the front tires are worn to the cords and the insides are like new. Could the toe be out that bad for this to happen? It has the solid front axle so there is no caster adjustment. Any ideas what I should check.
Ya that what i figured. I have done the toe on my 89 before but this jeep is out real bad. Just wondering if there was something else to check. The tires were only 4 months old i was told. The jeep was wrecked, fixed and supposibly aligned.

Ya, I have done the same thing. Ruined 300 bucks in tires by not aligning after lift. It doesn't take it being out much to screw them up. I would see if you can use it to get the price lower then fix it in your driveway with some new rubber.
