I had the same problem with mine, I just relocated it an inch or so forward and haven't had any problems since. There are kits out there but a lot of people have just fabbed something up.

you could just take the bushing mounts on the frame and move then an inch forward, re-drill the frame and tap the holes. there...problem solved

yeah here's a guy that took his front off... (don't be like him)

http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...nt_Swaybar.htm

if you drive like you spell then you should probably put it back on immediately...

get longer sway bar links... should move the sway bar up and out of the way of the coil springs.

Call me lucky, but I've had no problems running without anti-sway bars, even with swerving out of the way from people pulling out in front of me. The key is to not drive like a rally racer. I take corners slowly, I don't "tailgate," and I don't speed. Also, if any creature besides a deer or human crosses my path on a road, it becomes blood and guts all over the sides of the Jeep.

Now, if Murphy's Law comes into play, and I have a to swerve out of the way of something and simultaneously strike a massive pothole while traveling at 60 mph, then I can see the vehicle rolling end-over-end all over the place, but that can happen with swaybars on, too.

Dang there isnt not one straight panel left on that.

Just so you know I run Quick discos and one day I got lazy and didn't hook them back up. A month went by cause I forgot and finally put them back on and the body roll decreased by 80% After being used to it. It felt like a totally different jeep with it on.
So get some disco's according to your lift the stock links will hit the springs with a lift.

lightning can strike rubber. anything can happen, you jeep can still roll over with a sway bar. its not a shield. it does make a large difference in a tight spot when you need to swerve rather quickly and avoid hitting something.

i personally run one, on my 2008 nissan frontier with 9" lift and 1500$ coilovers, i dont.

when i lift the jeep, i most likely wont either. you can tell people to stop smoking all day because it will kill them, but they will likely just light up because your stressing them out.

A very informative and worthwhile post that said pretty much nothing. Some people go without front sway bars, on the trail it's a given but on the street that’s pretty dumb. Sure you may know what you and your jeep can do but what about Joe blow that pulls out in front of you or runs a stop sign in front of you. By making your jeep more unsafe (which you are without a front sway bar) you’re putting the public at risk with your rig. Sure people get hurt everyday but you don't have to help things along with dumb stuff.
