Front shock lower mount help

Front shock lower mount help
Hi my lower shock months are rotted to hell and where the coils sit on to on bothe sides but the one is bad treied welding but it just melts away what should I do where can I order them from on line or should I just get used ones ore replace the whole axle

You could truss the axle and that would provide new spring perches but honestly if the axle is as bad as you are describing it then you need to yank it out of there and throw in a better condition one from the junkyard. You can get entire axle assemblies cheaper than the truss kits that provide new spring perches.

Unfortunately you have three, well four options really..
1. Probably your best option is to just buy a new D30 axle. All you really need is the housing so a burnt up one will do. (assuming yours still works and is in good shape.) probably the cheapest.
2. Upgrade your axles. Not the cheapest, but best in the long run.
3. Truss it. As linked above, you could go that rout still not the cheapest.
4. Try and weld in new spring mounts. I would not recommend this as the welds could fail and you'll be in some deep ****. And not any closer to fixing the problem.

Yea thanks the axle fine just it's just the mounts it was sitting for a while and the axle only has 80000 miles On it
