Default Front end lock up after sitting

The last 2 snow storms where i live after driving in deep snow and parking my jeep when i go to use it again the front end keeps locking up on the drivers side and you have to give it a little gas for it to pop free again. Snow here has been really bad the last 2 times and that is the only time it does it. I also don't have any unusual noises when i drive it after this. Has anybody had this happen before. I think it might be snow melting on the brake pads then freezing but also maybe snow is getting packed in by the u joints and freezing.

sounds like you're making slushies.

when was the last time you checked or did a front diff fluid change?
sounds like it's milky and the water is freezing in there.

I haven't had a chance to check it yet but i'm pretty sure that the last owner never ran it thru and water when the weather gets a little better i will have to check that.

That has happened to me each snow that we've had this year, not just the front but on all four corners.......my jeep and my truck do this and it's just it sticking to the ground. You have to give it more gas to break it free then your good to go. This sounds like the same thing you are going through.

Both my jeep and my gf's car do this. The tires stick to the ground. It could also be brakes freezing.

Another rare possibility is you have water in your front diff that is freezing. Very rarely does this happen though.
