I doubt anyone will have an answer for this but I could use the help.

When pulling my front driveshaft to replace u joints and service the CV on my front Driveshaft (96 XJ, NP231, AX-15, 4x4 obviously), I stripped the head on two of the bolts that mount the tail end of the driveshaft to the transfer case (CV/Double Cardan side). I was able to get the bolts out but the heads are mangled and I'm having a hard time replacing them. Has anyone found replacement bolts? They are 8mm 1.0 thread pitch bolts which would be easy to find but the head is smaller than usual, presumably to fit in the cramped area. I'm about to buy what I can get and see if they work because I just found out the stealorship wants $5 a bolt that takes over a week to order in. It has to be simpler than that.

In case I can't describe the bolt I'ms struggling with, please see the attached image. I've circled it in red.Please help,

On the CV/Double Cardan side, I am mounting the yoke side of the CV to the Yoke of the Transfer Case so these clamps do not work. All local autoparts stores opened these boxes for me in search of the fitting bolt but these bolts are different so no luck.

the junk yard is a possibility but selection is very poor in my area. I think we have 2 XJ since they crushed last and I believe both drive shafts are in the vehcile so low odds of bolts being saved. I planned to check that out if I couldn't find new to fit since it is an outside shot.
