Default Front driveshaft not fitting transfer case yoke

This is the part that came with the 12mm bolts. Too big for the 8mm yoke
So I purchased my automatic 95 xj here in Germany and the front drive shaft was missing. I purchased a used one that was for an automatic so not sure why it wouldn't fit. The part that bolts into the transfer case yoke is too big, 12mm, while the transfer case yoke uses an 8mm. Is there an easy fix or just buy new? Would buying new result in the same problem? Thanks for the help
