So like the front speaker is a hard to find size...I got two that I like that are 5.25 inch.....what are my options for getting these to fit? Fab a few brackets to go from hole to hole or are there reasonably priced adapters available somewhere? And reasonable I mean 30 bucks or less

5.25 are the size of the factory speakers. You should only have to drill new holes. I installed a pair of 5.25 Alpine's in my 2001 Sport and just had to drill some new mounting holes in the door. I've heard alot of people on here installed 6.5" with little fabrication. Good Luck!

Well that's what I thought but...somethings not right here then....my 5.25s are about 1/4 inch too small all the way around the hole these go in.....that would make my speakers 4.75 if that's the case. But im sure they are 5.25....the hole is just way bigger...and there hasn't been any modification done to my jeep speaker wise yet. Anyone else run into this problem? Im using polk audio dx525 components

the kicker 6.5 in ones fit in just right my 5.25s i got first were a little small also. so just return what you got and get 6.5s and they will fit good with just drilling new holes.

Upon measuring a stock speaker I had laying around, the outside screw-outside screw hole measurement is 5.75". Curious. But x2 on the 6.5's, I fit some Pioneers in there with no modification at all. You could put the 5.25"s in the hatch... Those seemed to fit fine for me.

I got all Pioneer 5.25 and mine sound good and fit in fine. Literally got it all done in about an hour. Just waitin to put in a nice 12" Sony sub in sometime soon.

I've got 6 3/4" Boston Acoustic Pro 60's in mine. What I did was replace the stock door panels with aluminum diamond plate and cut out the speaker hole in the sheet metal to accommodate the bigger magnet.
