Default Front Differential Capacity?

I have a '94 Cherokee and both the owners manual and the FSM were wrong about the rear capacity. They said 2.5 pints of oil for the rear differential. I thought that was low but I trusted both of the manuals. Well, as many of you have posted, and also later years of the FSM stated, it took about 2 1/2 quarts. So, I am getting ready to do the front end, and again, I have multiple sources that state about 3.15 pints. Can I trust this, or do I need to buy some more oil. Since I order my oil from Schaeffer, I don't want to have to buy just one more quart if I don't have to. Shipping is expensive for just one bottle. But I have just about 3.5 pints left. Any help please?

My front Dana 30 takes about 1.4 quarts of fluid.
Fill until it starts running out of the fill hole, make sure the jeep is level when you fill the front diff up.

thanks for the reply. I may have just enough oil left. If not, I guess it will sit in my garage until I get another bottle in.

You can use another brand of gear oil to top off a differential.
It is most important that it be full.

you are right there, but that little OCD voice in my head will not allow that. So, to keep sanity, I must listen to him
