front diff questions
Im looking for a front diff for a 2000 Cherokee 4x4 auto with 3.55 gears with abs. why is a 2000 model differ than a 1999 or older Cherokee ? i figure i can swap knuckles for non abs . Please help me know why i can't put a 93 to 97 diff in there ,or what do I have to change for it to work ? please help

Front axle in 2000 is a low pinion D30. 99 and older is a high pinion D30. The high pinion is better, especially if you want to lift it. If you plan on a lift, swap the high pinion axle in, no reason why it wouldn't work.

Thanks everyone . Will I have any driveshaft issues going from low pinion to high pinion ? So my best bet would be 1992-1995 with ABS or a 1996+ non abs.since of the 5-297x ujoints .
