Front Diff acts "Diff-erent" after Axleshaft replacement...
Were both bearing caps reinstalled in the exact same position and orientation that they were removed? As an aside I'm not uber experienced with diffs but I've yet to pull a non-locking collar carrier that didn't have some shims.
What about when you jack up the front end can you spin the wheels by hand? Are the front brakes locked up?

I used a torque wrench. I think it was 35 lbs? Hard to remember but I looked it up. The 2 side bearings were smooth. One of my friends said I should've changed them both anyway. When I reopen it I probably will. Today the drag from the front axle won't let the Jeep move. If I give it gas it drives in 4. If I take my foot off the gas, it slows the Jeep to a stop. When back in 2 wheel drive, drives just fine. No issues at all.
This is a serious case of binding! Something is not right in your front diff. But then again, how is your transfer case?

Unfortunately I have to work this weekend. I'll keep it outta 4. I think it's a good idea to get it off the ground. A mechanic at work told me to check the tcase also... but that's an amazing coincidence for it to go bad right when I messed with the pumpkin.

Might be as simple as an adjustment to the tcase linkage. Pull the front driveshaft, put her in 4wd. See if it still has a hard time moving. This will rule out the front differential if the problem is still there.

Reading this I don't understand why the differential carrier came out at all? Were pinion bearings changed? Was is to change the axle shaft seals? If all shims went back, it "should" be OK. There should be no break in.

Did you put the correct hubs on your rig? There are two different hubs available, using the wrong ones can cause the brakes to drag.

If this was the case, the jeep would resist moving regardless of being in 2WD or 4WD. OP is having issues in 4WD only which is leading me to believe he is experiencing transfer case problems.
