Default Front Clip Conversion

Any ideas how much of a process is involved in swapping out the front clips from the pre 97s to the newer style clips? Any writeups?

Your right..but i don't think the grille and side markers will work without swapping out the entire clip,

The fenders are slightly different at the top, they're more rounded.

The front of the fenders stop at the top of the bumper as well.

It's all bolt on, just make sure you get the fenders with it.

Ive seen it done without swapping fenders..doesnt look too bad just the body lines dont match up perfectly. Rounded vs square basically.

I'm guessing it would cost a decent bit. I'd need front clip, grille, bezels, and fenders.

I did this. It bolts on. ofcourse I didnt bother with a bunch of garbage you dont need, like stock front bumper or stock flares.

you need fenders and complete header panel.

I bought a 97 cherokee for the 29 spline 8.25 the seats, seat belts, front doors, front clip, and tons of spare parts for 350, to update the look of my xj.

If you have the means, change the front doors too, the 96 and older doors look like crap with the useless triangle window.

Looks good. Maybe funds will permit. I hope to keep the thread going though cause it's a cool mod. My $ are going towards armor and more suspension upgrades first
