Need your help guys. I spoke to a mechanic buddy of mine he said he's never heard of this happening to both wheels, sometimes one wheel, but not both. I just replaced the rotors & pads on my '01 Limited. Put it all back together, started it, pumped the brakes for a few sec, put it in drive, went to pull away, and nothing, it will not move! Rear wheels spin if given enough gas but front wheels are locked as if I'm trying to drive thru a brick wall. Jacked up each front corner to see if the wheel will spin freely, nothing wheels will not budge. Seems calipers (both) are locked up. Is this common? How do I fix this issue? What caused this to happen?

First you need to see if your problem is hydrolic or mechanical...

If you crack the bleed screws does the wheel release? If so then it is hydrolic related... if not then it may have been put together wrong somehow some way...

Figured it out. The EFFIN rotors are too deep. When i tighten the lug nuts the rotor tightens against the backing plate which locks up the wheel. F@#K!!

No, not it. The rotors that were sent to me are for basic 2wd Cherokee. I have a Limited 4wd, 2 different rotors.

No. Never modify brake parts to make them work. If a brake part does not fit, that means it is the wrong part. There are limits to how much can be machined off of a rotor or drum before it becomes unsafe.
