That's what I did w/ GM. I sent them like 40 emails about how I'm po-ed about how my car comes with stainless exhaust, but my brake hard lines were cheapo steel that ended rotting out with only 50K miles and not used in winter, not to mention that it was down south 3 years out of its life. I said its funny that my exhaust won't corrode, but it would be nicer if I could stop when I have to.

They wrote me back saying they're sorry and that the case was handled wrong.

I got a full brake line replacement on my MC-SS, GM swapped out factory for stainless lines (I couldn't talk them into braided), and still talk to them about when I needed a new BCM and ignition cylinder, and the canceled the charges the dealer nailed me for when they said I had a connection terminal that was bad (which they didn't notice when they were changing the BCM, even though it was connected BCM).

So sometimes you're complaining will be heard, esp. since they know one angry person will tell hundreds how much they hate the company.
