i was driving home from the meet and noticed it sounded like a rattle sound or like a lose chain sound well i noticed up hills it dont do it but flat hills it dose well today i went under and moved the front shaft and it makeing sound from the front axle anyideas it full of oil so i have no clue

 

So you shook your front driveshaft and i rattles? Check the u-joints

 

not the shaft but inside the front diff it like it has a inch of movement

 

gear oil is cheap... Pull the cover off the diff and check your ring and pinion for wear patterns. Also have someone move the wheels while you observe. x2 on checking u-joints

 

Just a guess here, but I've replaced drive chains in the NP231 transfer cases for stretching. A streched chain can make all kinds of unusual noises.
