Front axle vacuum hose
I removed the air box to replace my front shocks and I found a hose that goes to the front axle.
I'm guessing it's a vacuum hose. Were is it supposed to connect?
Thanks in advance!

vent hose
Since it's near your airbox it is likely the vent hose from the differential. Should have a little cap at the end that allows vapors to escape but prevent water from entering if the axle is ever submerged in water. Should connect at the axle to a nipple somewhere near the top of the differential (pumpkin).

Oh, okay cool. Thanks! My hose is missing that cap. Is it something that I can find at a parts store, or is it a jy item?
Also, it's just hanging loose. Is it normally attached or zip tied to anything?

Mine runs along the drivers upper control arm and ends up between the rear of the intake and the firewall. I've heard others say theirs ends up near the air box. I guess as long as it's up and out of the way of moving parts you'll be okay.
