Front axle question
I tried out the 4 wheel drive on my 91 cherokee tonight to find out that it fails to work. i believe the problem to be the fork in the front axle, but i wanted to take a look at the axle i pulled from my 95 parts cherokee. i started looking at the axle and noticed there is no vacume lines or fork box (you know what i mean) on it. Puzzled, i took a look under my other 95 that the 4 wheel drive works great and low and behold it is the same way, no fork box. My question is what is the better axle to use in my 91? just fix the axle that is in it or swap over to the newer axle. If swapping is the better way to go then what do i do with the wires that go to the "fork box"?
Thank you in advance for any help on the subject
