So i put on a RC 4.5 Lift a couple months ago, and right from the start it was apparent i got closer to 6.5" in the front and 5.5 in the rear. Since the lift went on i have had clunking noises from the front end everytime i went over any type of bump.
I typically run ASB for daily driving, then remove it when i go wheeling so i went and bought parts to homebrew some quick discos..
Got up this morning and disco'd the ASB, then decided to take a short ride without it to see exactly how it handles..... all i can say is WOW, this thing glides around without the ASB installed, all the bumps that made my front end sound like it was about to fall apart now do nothing when i pass over them.
So my question is this.. Is there a chance me running my ASB was binding up something in the steering? Logically i think its possible, but ive had no experience with this.
Thanks for the info.
