I was wondering if the wire that runs into the fender well and down to the front brake area was some sort of abs sensor. And what would happen if I took it off. Thanks guys

well, your abs light would come one and stay on, and it would make your abs kick in every time you step on the pedal cause it will think that one wheel is slipping.
that symptom may go away after you reach 20mph until you shut the jeep off and start all over.
it's the same as if you damage the tone ring.
but, you can always remove the abs relay under the hood to disable that pedal feel when the abs kicks in.
why do you want to remove that wire anyway? is it damaged or something?
