I need to check the front subframe to see if it is tweaked. What is the best way to check for correct geometry? Is there a tech bulletin or web site that has all of the check points & dimensions? I'm mainly concerned about the IFS. The rear axle/ frame is pretty straight forward.

umm IFS? IFS around here is called independent front suspension. XJ's dont usually have that. As far as the subframe goes the only way i know of is with a measuring tape. Basically you measure corner to corner and make sure all measurements are the same.
Body shops these days have laser measurement systems to make sure the frame is straight. This would be the proffered way to go imo. You want the jeep to track properly and be safe.
