don't know why you'd need the frame for the XJ. Cherokees are uni-body, so having a second frame is kinda silly.
the axles are Dana44, which are a nice upgrade. you can use the drivetrain (engine, trans, and transfer case), but you are going to have to do some fabrication and reconfiguring for the sensors and fuel delivery system. i'm not sure about the transfer case (the Rock-Trac) and it's configuration, but i believe it is like the NP231, but with an SYE already installed on it.
rough idea on what you'll need to do to get all of it to work, but if you have the knowhow, i'm pretty sure it can all be put into an XJ

I know i don't need the frame but its a rolling chassis. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to get the axles and stuff them under my xj. I believe they have front and rear lockers.

Whatever you don't need or use can be sold on e-bay or CL to help recoup some costs on your part. IN FACT, if you don't want the t-case let me know. I'll give ya $100 for it.
I may not even but it. If someone wants it let me know. I am friends with a guy that owns a shop that has it. He said 800 and its mine, but if someone here wants it let me know. I am in middletown,ny

^ trying to swindle a great deal, eh? lol
in the long run, it would not be a bad investment at all. all those parts total new would run you a few grand easily, so $800 on all of it, that's a steal.
