i have a 98 cherokee sport and i need to take the dash apart to get to the fog lights switch does anybody know how to do this?

 

Look in the how to section there is a write up explaining how to rebuild it. To get the bezel off just pull from bottom slowly working your way up then you will see how to get it out.

I know on my 89' the instrument panel cover has like 4 bolts on it. Undo those, might have to undo 4 or 5 bolts of the panel that runs under the steering column, over to under the glove box.

But for me, the panel simply just pops off with a tug.

 

i installed my own, rougly in the same location, looks great to me

 

i figured it out theres just clips on there holding it in. but another question my stock fog switch its always in the down position. i can click it up but it doesnt do anything and it dont stay up. i think its broke
