SO after work today i decide to pull the intake off clean the throttlebody etc etc. SO i decided to do my first seafom. i poor in a little bit maybe like 10 ounces to 15. take it outside let it idle. My jeep has had idle problems that i am currently still diagnosting it so BEFORE i did the seafoam i thought i had finally fixed my idle problem, WHAT I DID WAS take the TPS from a 4.0 HO cherokee to my 88 4.0 RELIX. i pulled out the old tps it seemed to be stuck back, so i replaced it with the 4.0 HO to the 4.0 RELIX. I then START it and the idle seemed to have finnally settle i was thinking to myslef that it worked. BUT its funny because my jeep only idles ruff when in PARK or NUETRAL but in drive its OK. so then after i finish the sea foam i I PULLED MY BRAKE BOOSTER HOSE AND FILLED IT TO ABOUT now half a can. i noticed it started to idle really ruff. i kill it after the seafom stopped then after 20 minutes i put about 1/4 more in now the bottle is at 1/4 left i let the seafoam finishe ATILL idleing ruff. i take it for a quick drive in the parking lot and DAMN it seems like there is a rock in my block because im gettin ****ty pops and AT IDLE IN DRIVE ONLY THE WHOLE MOTOR SHAKES VIOLENTLY IN DRIVE BUT IN PARK OR NUETRAL IT IDLES AROUND 1500 TO 2000 RPMS BUT SMOOTH...
it got late so i need to finish it tommorow but im carless atm any advice thanks

you are only suppost to add 1/3 of the can of seafoam into your intake, while it is being sucked into the intake by a vacuum line it will cause your rig to idle rough and almost/may stall. after pouring it in, poor another 1/3 of the seafoam into the gas, turn your rig off and let it sit for 5 mins. after doing so turn it back on and rev the engine, it should then start smoking like crazy, keep reving the engine till smoke is gone, or go take it for a drive up the street till the smoke clears. did you check the plugs? change the plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor idk what year has what but also clean the iac with some throttle body cleaner, theres a write up on how to do so. doing all of that will help smooth out a rough idle, is your rig throwing any codes? could have a vacuum leak
